So I guess my postings are now once every 3 months now, so there are LOTS of photos to follow.

Since my last post, Oct 8, I have started my new job and LOVE it. I work long days M,T, and F but Wed and Thurs I just round on any patients in the hospital and then I am finished. All my coworkers are great - the office runs very smoothly and all my partners work very well together. Call is a bummer, and weekend call is especially miserable, but it is every 5 th night and weekend, so not that bad. William is also staying busy and enjoying his practice. I also found out that I passed my board exam, and that is a HUGE relief. William takes his in April, and he says if he passes we are buying a boat! Should make for a fun summer.

Emily is growing like a weed! She is 6 1/2 months old now. We have her next MD appt coming up soon, so I can't tell you where she currently is on the growth chart, but at her 4 month appt, she was 93% for weight, and high 80's for head and height. Big girl!! She is rolling over, and sitting unassisted briefly, laughing and seems to be happy most of the time. She is madly in love with her big brother, who still mostly ignores her. She also seems to be a daddy's and grandpapa's girl. So far, with her love of food and men, she is taking after me quite nicely!!
She really is the easiest baby I think who has ever existed. She goes to bed at around 6pm and wakes up at 8am, just lies in the crib, looking around and smiling. She is eating baby foods now, and gags on the meats and green veggies, so now I just mix it all together and add a little fruit to disguise the taste. You can see she isn't missing any meals.

The biggest news lately is the birth of my sister, Mary's baby Francie. She was born October 18th, healthy as can be. Her full name is Frances Katherine Haskins. I was able to make it to Macon for the delivery, but left the labor room for about 30 minutes to help my dad with my kids. That was when Francie was born. I was pretty devastated to have missed the actual birth, but I held it together and was glad to be there for almost the whole thing. Mary was a pro.

I was able to visit the next week sans children to help Mary a little. Francie was a little jaundiced here. And I am a little pale.

Some Henry update...
He is 2 1/2 and generally a pretty easy going guy. He loves books and cars, and his little brain is like a sponge. We are also in the potty training stages. He does great if we are home all day, but so far not much public potty use. The past 2 school days he left home with his big boy underwear on, and both times has come back home in his "spare" change of clothes.
He also needs supervision. If you get distracted, he may just go wherever. See below.

Halloween was pretty fun this year. Henry has discovered his inner lust for candy. He inherited that from Grandpapa. I was on call on Halloween night, and a little humbug about it, so I never bought Emily a costume. I was able to go trick-or-treating, though, and that was fun. Our street had a little party which was really nice. Below is Henry with Grandpapa.

Grandmama and Grandpapa bought us all tickets to Disney on Ice. Henry really enjoyed it and made it through about 75% of the show.

William and I were both on call for the 4-day Thanksgiving holiday, so we didn't do too much. My parents kept the kids. I was able to make it to Tybee for Thanksgiving dinner at Scott Center's beach house. He was so sweet to allow us all to come over - and to allow Henry to run wild and eat all of his bananas. Forget turkey and mashed potatoes...

Heather DeGaetano and her family were in town the week of Thanksgiving so they came over for dinner one night. Henry and Lucie had a fun time together.

Here are the girls. Gennie had her birthday while we were there so we had a little Princess Party for her. She was so cute. Here she is with her mama, Mary Laura.

I decided one day I would get the Christmas card photos done, and although I had no help, I felt certain I could manage. The shot below is the best one I had of them together. Henry refused to let Em sit in his lap. I ended up just taking two separate pictures and merging them for the Christmas card. Not exactly professional quality, but worked nonetheless.

We had a great time on Tybee for Christmas this year. My mom's entire family came to visit - met the kids, played lots of euchre, and had a blast! Here is the gang at my house. I had a little party one night and it was really fun. William took the photo because we couldn't figure out the timer on my camera.

Our next big event was just last weekend - the girls were baptized at our church here in Savannah. They were so sweet. Emily wore the same gown that Henry wore - an antique christening gown from Scotland that Mimi found. Francie wore the one Mary was baptized in. Very cute.

And last but not least, my girl with her chicken leg. Daddy was in charge of feeding her that night because I was on call. Funny guy.
