The Moretz Family

Here are a few of our latest photos. Henry is almost 3 months old now! We took a trip to Atlanta last weekend to attend Charles and Jordan Mixson's wedding. The reception was at Turner Field (where the Braves play) and it was really fun - great view overlooking the field. Erin and Brandon let us stay with them, and they even babysat Henry! See Brandon, in action, practicing how to feed a baby (and notice Erin in the background with baby Matthew). Thank goodness she waited until the next night to go into labor! So now Matthew has arrived, and Henry is very excited about meeting him.

Henry will start Daycare next week, Wednesdays and Fridays. If that doesn't work, I think Tillie would make a fine Nanny. Look how happy they are together.

Henry is ready to fight anybody who says this is a dress.

Our Crape Myrtles in Full Bloom

Here are some recent photos. Our crape myrtles bloomed to a spectacular site this year. We think they are the biggest in Augusta! Henry had his first church visit last Sunday and only screamed once or twice. He waited until complete silence so he could be heard. It was great. We are planning to have Henry baptized the last Sunday in August.

Henry is 2 1/2 months old, doing just great. He has slept through the night several times, and we love that! Every night I keep my fingers crossed. He is trying to roll over, but other than that, just smiling and looking around, taking in the world. Grandma is babysitting every day, all day, but she promises to start taking off 2 days a week in August so she may regain her life! He will start at MCG Daycare then. Hope all are well. We'll keep you posted!

Henry had his first set of shots last week and everything went well. He weighs 9lb10oz now, which is appropriate growth for him, but he is still only 10% for weight and height (he is 22"). His head, however, is 50% - which, upon looking at Grandpa Mac, is no surprise! We also went to the orthopedic surgeon to have his hip checked out today, and it is just fine! So all is well. We went to Tybee last weekend for a little R and R - much needed, I might add! The beach was perfect and we were sad to leave. Grandma got lots of baby snuggling in, and Mary and Mark have agreed to be Henry's godparents. We plan to have him baptized in August - still don't know the exact date - but it will be in Augusta at William's church - Lutheran. We haven't put him in daycare quite yet as we are trying to put it off for as long as possible! I think we will be ready next week, and I know Mimi (aka Grandma Moretz) will be ready for a break after this week!
