We're walking for real, now. Since about 2 weeks ago, Henry really started taking off. He now has about 12 teeth and eats everything in sight. He started school yesterday and cried to the point of vomiting, but he managed to eat his whole lunch so I guess he adjusted ok. I spent last weekend at the beach near St. Augustine with Florence, Erin, and Becky. No kids. It was VERY relaxing. William and I leave Saturday for a week long vacation without him - and I am prepared to miss him more than anything. But how miserable can I be in the middle of Lake Powell, lying on a houseboat with a book and a cocktail??? After all, I plan to be pregnant again soon, so I need to live it up while I can, right? 15 months

It has been almost 3 months since I have posted anything. Henry's been growing like a weed! We have our 15-mo check up next week so we'll see how he is doing on the growth chart then. In the past 3 mos he has gotten his first haircut, has a new-found love for cars/trucks and the beach, and he loves to talk on the phone. He is going to start "school" at the end of August - mother's day out 2 mornings a week at a local church. He has taken a few steps here and there but no full-fledged walking yet. We are trying to be patient and to convince ourselves that he is normal. I guess we'll see...
